Photo Op
I feel bad about the fires in Maibu, but it does make for lovely sunsets. (Now is when I'm supposed to put up a photo I took but I'm having trouble with my camera so you'll have to imagine it.)

Not sure if you've commented on this yet, but in general, the more a movie is promoted, the worse it is. Bee Movie has got to be the worst film in years. If the quality of the promotions is any indication, it will rank with Gigli and Lost Horizons.
What I've seen of Bee Movie so far has not been too inspiring, but I like Seinfeld and will probably check it out. After I see it I'll probably blog about how I got stung.
Will Bee Movie be anything like its Thursday night promos- I'm guessing not if the gay jokes are any indication.
I just flew into San Diego (Chamber of Commerce said yesterday- no problems, please come! our conferences are proceeding as scheduled! Today after 8 hours on United- Go Home! We need your room!) and the fires are very picturesque and frightening from the sky and the whole City smells like a fireplace burning green wood. Is LA getting the same thing?
I hear things are a bit worse in San Diego.
Hey, if you needed a place to stay you could have driven up to LA.
