The Wonder Of The Internets
So I'm talking to an 85-year-old woman at a party. She doesn't really use a computer, or know her way around them, she says. A bit later she mentions she was in show biz and her former husband, Arthur Tracy, was a famous singer many years ago.
To show her the power of this newfangled gizmo, I use a nearby laptop (it wasn't my computer, or my house for that matter) and in seconds show her this, which she hadn't seen in years.

That is really cool. What was her reaction and was she (herself) in any of the footage?

She was amazed and asked me to look up other stuff, including her father, who was a famous bandleader.
She wasn't in any of the footage, but we were able to look up her name in regard to a couple things.
