I really thought he was gonna get the book thrown at him, so it's surprising to see Wesley Snipes got off pretty lightly in his tax evasion case.
I haven't been following the story too closely, so I have to guess it either wasn't as good as trumpeted, or he had a very sympathetic jury.

Of course it was a sympathetic jury. Celebrities get away with murder - you think tax fraud is going to bring a famous person down? Puh-leeeeeeze. Wake me when OJ, Phil Spector, and Michael Jackson are finally behind bars.
Why did you include Michael Jackson in this group? He was the innocent victim of an overzealous prosecutor.
