Evolving Standards of Decency

During last night's wildcard game between Philadelphia and Minnesota, during a promo for Tim Roth's new show "Lie to Me," I was pretty sure I heard the word "Asshole" spoken. I wasn't paying complete attention- did I? It was on FOX Sports. I guess it truly has become a meaningless intensifier. (Odd since Bono's idle 'fuck's and half of Janet Jackson's bosom caused such an uproar)

If they are just gonna say this on TV now, then I'm gonna need something new to yell at the other drivers.


NE Guy Checks the Video: Never mind, the republic is still secure- While I couldn't find the same trailer, another video on the show's site makes me think I heard a character say someone was "...lying his ass off" -which is of course, very, very different.
