As It Should Be
It's February and TV is as it should be. On Monday you've got Heroes (and Big Bang and House). Tuesday, American Idol. Wednesday, the highlight of the week, Lost. Thursday, comedy on NBC--Earl, Office, 30 Rock. Friday and Saturday I'm more likely to go out, but if I want, there's Battlestar Galactica and Saturday Night Live. And on Sunday, The Simpsons and Family Guy.
Maybe I should watch less TV, but my attitude is enjoy it while it lasts.

Interestingly enough, after a couple of years watching almost no TV, I find myself watching more now. My current schedule - actually, I DVR everything I watch because I can't stand commercials - is Medium on Monday, The Fringe on Tuesday, Bones on Thursday, and, starting on February 13th, Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dollhouse on Fridays.
In addition, Reaper will be back in March or April. I also am interested in Life - I watched a couple of episodes online and I like it - but the networks don't make it easy for you to catch up when you join a show after it's been on awhile. Same thing with the Mentalist. Since CBS won't stream any episodes online, I'll probably wait for it to come out on DVD.
So, not in LAGuy's class, but for me, that's a lot of TV.
I saw that Amy Poelher's new sitcom will be starting on Thursdays (Superbowl Commercial that looked funny). Do you think it will replace Kath & Kim (permanently, I hope)?
I like watching Bones but after running it against (and killing?) Pushing Daisy's, now they have it up against Earl on Thursdays - why tackle the NBC Thurs. powerhouse with a reasonably successful show like Bones? Aren't they likely to lose audience by changing the timeslot?
Speaking of TV and the Super Bowl. While its clear that Ben Roethlisberger is some version of Will Ferrell, after listening to him speak on the 5 hour pregame show, its also clear that Mike Holmgren is really Kevin from The Office
"The NBC Thursday powerhouse." Are you being ironic? They've been in third place on Thursdays for years. That night is a battle between CSI and Grey's Anatomy.
VermontGuy: I'm guessing you're a Joss Whedon fan? 3 out of 5 of your shows have a clear JW connection....
I'm already avoiding spoilers for Dollhouse, and it hasn't even started yet!
I guess I din't relize that NBC lost it's must see status. I thought Earl, 30 Rock and The Office were really popular (based on Emmys I guess).
Still, the question stands why move Bones to Thurs. night?
I think the answer to your question is Everybody's Gotta Be Some Place.
LK: Yes, big Whedon fan here. Which reminds me, there's another show premiering in March with a Joss Whedon connection: Castle, starring Nathan Fillion.
