Peace Out

Before Star Trek, they showed a Land Of The Lost trailer. It played as comedy, but if it didn't have Will Ferrell at the center, the expensive look and fancy special effects would have suggested action/adventure.

In the trailer, Ferrell, as scientist Rick Marshall, is interviewed by Matt Lauer. Marshall mocks Al Gore and Lauer reminds him Gore won a Nobel Prize. I know this is a movie, but I was still annoyed that even in a piece of fiction Lauer would treat Gore as some sort of science expert, to be respected because he won a Nobel Prize--back in the real world, I'd like to remind Lauer that Gore won the Peace Prize (and a highly questionable one at that).
