With the tide turning against her a bit, it was interesting to see Nancy Pelosi singling out the insurance companies: "We have no illusions about what insurance companies will do to hold on to their power to exploit patients...." "...you’re either with the insurance companies or you want something new."

Pelosi supporters didn't like kind of talk when Bush opposed a killer who was actually at war with us. Two Minutes Hate is always dangerous, but against legal corporations offering a product? That's like starting a war against Starbucks (which many would support, I suppose).
