I was surprised to hear SNL had hired two new (and fairly hot) women for their cast. Now I see they're letting two women go, so it makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is who's leaving, Casey Wilson and Michaela Watkins. Wilson has been around for a while and I thought she was being groomed to take over as the primary female if Kristen Wiig decides to move on, as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have. As for Watkins, she was the new gal who got good notices, especially for her long-suffering Hoda Kotb. Is there more here than meets the eye?
