Words Get In The Way
Happy birthday, Burt Bacharach. He had (has?) a great sound, and one that didn't seem to owe anyone anything. It sounds like the 60s (and early 70s), yet it doesn't sound like anything else from that era. Even his instrumentals are immediately recognizable.

It might be Bacharach's inimitable sound, but Bond Street sounds a lot like Yakety Sax.
