A Very Chicago Form of Expression
A lot of the Guys here have links to the University of Chicago (that's the sound of the Development Office cringing) so I thought the following announcement in the fun-filled U of C alumni email I received today might be of interest:
I seem to recall one or more the Guys responded to a contest for a slogan of the City of Chicago some time in 1984 or 5 and had a number of great suggestions (the only one I recall right now is "The city that leaves a ring around Lake Michigan" ) I'm sure we could provide Mr. Christenson with many fine ideas.ANNOUNCEMENTS
ALUMNI T-SHIRT CONTEST
Take your pick: The Level of Hell Dante Forgot, U of C: Not UIC since 1892—or the classic, Where Fun Comes to Die. The T-shirt is a very Chicago form of expression. We’d like you to prove it in practice by creating your own UChicago slogan or design. Submit your ideas to Gahan Christenson, AB'03, by July 31. The winning design will be available for purchase. Photos welcome! For inspiration, click here.
