Borderline

According to the headline, "Palestinians question US ability to forge peace."  As they should.  The only people who can forge peace over there are the Palestinians.

The Palestinians say there is no point in negotiating if Israel continues to build homes for its citizens in the West Bank and east Jerusalem - captured territories that the Palestinians claim for a future independent state.

This is perverse. If the Palestinians actually want peace (I'll ignore the fact they don't--as polls have shown, they desire the destruction of Israel), they should negotiate and make a deal.  At that point there will be clear borders, and anyone who tries to build a home across a border will be subject to the laws of the other country.  Such people will be easily dealt with, as both countries will recognize they are breaking the law.

Indeed, if the Palestinians want--as they seem to--a completely Jew-free country, they could arrest any Jew who even sets foot on Palestinian land.  The first thing they've got to do, however, is clarify where that land is.  Everything else will follow.

You seem not to get it. The existence of Jews is violence. Doubtless the Department of Homeland Security will be providing them grants soon enough.
