Old Wave
Jean-Luc Godard turns 80 today. It's hard to remain cutting edge for 50 years, but he seems to have done it. He's getting an honorary Oscar next year, though he won't show up to accept it. Is he too cool, or just doesn't like to fly?

I wouldn't call him smarmy. I think French will do.
French? Aren't we supposed to say "Freedomish" sorry I get all the political correctnesses confused
