Who came first, Frankie Valli or Lou Christie?
Valli was considerably older and started his career about a decade earlier.
As far as hits, Valli had his first big one with the Four Seasons, "Sherri," in late 1962, and quickly followed it with two other huge hits, "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like A Man."
Then, in early 1963, Lou Christie had two hits, "The Gypsy Cried" and "Two Faces Have I," and people accused him of ripping off Valli.
