Gosh, if only we'd not gone into Iraq, Afghanistan would have been solved just like that.
Damn. What a missed opportunity. But one thing is for sure, I'll never forget Peggy joining the Democrats on the steps of the capital to sing God Bless America during those awful days.

Why so bitter, Anon? If you recognize it as random spewing, why bother to reply at all? And if you recognize it not as random spewing, but as something you disagree with, then why not state the disagreement? Of course in the latter case you've preemptively blocked yourself, since you started out with insincerity. If you haven't bothered to read the Noonan piece--which of course is eminently rational--then why engage on this?
