BJ

Brian Jones was the leader of The Rolling Stones, and perhaps the most talented, in their early days as an R&B cover band.  The best-looking, too.  But when songwriting became the order of the day, the Glimmer Twins were the central figures.  The marginalized Jones developed drug problems, was kicked out of the band and drowned in his own pool on July 3, 1969, at age 27.

Mick Taylor replaced Jones and did some fine work, but if I had to choose, I prefer the Jones years.
