Stan's Not A Fan
When Dick Clark died, I noted how how threatened the establishment was when rock and roll burst forth. One of those people was today's birthday boy, Stan Freberg, who let everyone know just how he felt:
At least he was funny. Here's another attack on the music he hated.
Not long after I moved to Los Angeles I saw Freberg in a restaurant. I thought of going over to him and asking how he felt about today's music, but I figured he'd suffered enough.
