Welcome To His Nightmare
Happy birthday, Vincent Furnier, aka Alice Cooper. He turns 65 today, but there was a time he frightened respectable people. Not for long, though--he was always too much fun.

In my benighted youth, he was the truly scary hippy guy-somehow melded with Charles Manson, satanism and urban riots in my hazy memories. I do recall however a quasi-philosophical discussion on the bench during a little league game about "Only Women Bleed" circa 1975(?) that it contained a clearly falsifiable statement since we XY types were bleeding quite freely (the field was poor and rocky and sliding into 2d base always gave you a razberry knee). I also know what Milwaukee means thanks to his cameo in Wayne's World
We're you old enough, even in little league, to understand what Cooper was driving at in that song?
I still don't. menstruation? A radio-accessible version of Lennon's song about women of the world?
A lot of people see the connection with menstruation based on the first line, but the song in general is about women stuck in abusive relationships, and the bleedings is as much metaphorical as real.
