Meek's Cutoff

On February 3, 1967, Joe Meek shot his landlady, then himself.  Only 37, he'd been a successful music producer in England, but was having lots of personal problems.

A tragic ending.  We'll never know what would have happened if he stuck around, but he left behind more than a few gems.
