"Fresh Off the Boat"--It’s the '90s and 12 year old, hip-hop loving Eddie just moved to suburban Orlando from DC’s Chinatown with his parents. It’s culture shock for his immigrant family in this comedy about pursuing the American Dream.
Maybe The Goldbergs. Sounds like something we might like, in any event, which probably dooms the show.

After the attacks on Sarah Silverman and umbrage taken about Linsanity and "chinks in the armor" references, after I saw the first episode which portrayed Chinese Americans as joyless driven caricatures missing out on the fun in life (cf. the Mom and the "Chines Learning Center"), I thought for sure there would be a hue and cry. What I have read-which unless its some sort of sinister ABC infiltration of the comments section, indicates the opposite and Asians seem to like the attention that this show gives them. OK then
Its about as dumb as the Goldbergs, I agree- very retro sitcomfeel
Just wait till the FCC takes over the internet. Racist posts like this will be taken down.
Au contraire. They will be left up as examples to support the Chinese show trials.
