1972 (OK any year in the 70s) was the worst for hairstyles (an opinion so widely shared that I believe it qualifies as a fact), except for Michael Douglas, whose hair is clearly much worse now. That is a remarkable accomplishment in that hairstyles today are generally not so horrible
