And yet the media assured us Hillary won the debate

A new CNN/ORC poll released Monday showed Sanders with the biggest leap among any candidate in the 2016 field. And a new poll in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire found him slightly expanding his lead there over former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Slightly. Just a smidgeon. Hardly noticeable, really.

Every poll shows she won the debate. I'm sorry you think the media should lie about it because some separate poll said something else about a different topic.

Anon, it's possible that she won the debate on points, but people still increasingly like her less than Bernie Sanders. In fact, Sanders didn't have to "win" the debate, he just had to appear to be a viable candidate.

On the other hand, Jim Webb's meager support will probably be up for grabs for Hillary, so we'll see how she polls next week. Probably the most important trend in polling is the fact that she does better against the likely Republican candidates than Sanders, so the majority of Democrat primary voters will swing to her as their best chance to win the Presidency, even if her leads over those candidates is shrinking and sometimes disappearing.

Hillary is still far ahead of Sander. New Hampshire, the flip side of Vermont, doesn't count.

Webb's support, if he doesn't run, will go to Marco Rubio.
