Truer words

"You can rely on the New York Times to bring the same level of fairness, the same level of scrutiny, the same independence to our coverage of the new president and his team."

True dat. That's the one thing I can rely on the Times for.

That little morsel was rehearsed in this even better morsel: "Donald Trump keeps up media attacks with misleading tweets about New York Times"

Stop it, stop it, you're killing me.

What can be said to these people? Are they at all serious in asking if we expect them to become better reporters? How about this: "No, Mr. Bond! We expect you to die."

The demise of these hacks cannot come fast enough. There is a lot of ruin in a nation; we're finding out how much ruin there is the Sulzbergers, rededicated or not. My dollar says their obliteration will fall early in the second Trump administration, when the dollar that bought Newsweek will buy the NYT.
