Leaving aside the content, here is what happened:
A famous politician wrote a 12-word comment on Twitter.
Then a newspaper wrote a 221-word article describing and explaining her Twitter comment to its readership.
Isn't that sort of odd?
Fortunately, since the shooting of Steve Scalise, the Democrats have toned down their rhetoric.
