All written by the Beatles but one. Twist and Shout was a pretty good hit for the Isley Bros. 2 years earlier.
If Twist And Shout had made it to number 1 instead of number 2, it would be the only Beatles #1 not to be written by the band.
It's fascinating to see what music was popular fifty-five years ago.
