Winner Winner

Today is National Fried Chicken Day.  I don't know if anything tastes better than good fried chicken.  And I don't know if anything is worse for you. Are these two things related?

I'm not sure who started National Fried Chicken Day, but they didn't pick a great date.  This being two days after July Fourth, they're picking a time when people are already stuffing themselves with fried chicken--indeed, when some people are sick of fried chicken.  Would you choose National Eat A Turkey Day (I just made that up) to be celebrated two days after Thanksgiving?

No, someone should have picked a day in March or September or some date that doesn't have an unusually high amount of fried chicken consumption.
