Ah, yes, a moment of true genius. Too bad it didn't pay. Lawrence Welk and Velvet Underground.
(So, for us musical illiterates, why does that work? It is as simple as 4/4 time or some such?)
As long as you've got the same tempo and time signature--in this case 4/4--the dance still works.
