X-act-LII What You Expect
Try as I might, I can't get excited about the Super Bowl. It's usually a dull game, and this one promises to be duller than usual. I haven't been following the pros as closely as college, but does anyone really believe the Giants have a chance? The only question is by how many touchdowns the Patriots will win.

I don't know about dull, but it looks like a mismatch. Though the Giant defensive line is very good, I expect that the Patties will be able to counteract the strong rush with some very quick passes and/or quick rushes with the fullback right up the middle. I also look forward to Eli P. (for pussy) regaining perspective. Four weeks does not an Adonis make. He needs to work out extremely hard this off-season and with some luck, then he might get to play in the Super Bowl again the future...

Pats in a close defensive battle, 12-9 with each team scoring a safety. The discussion about spying will predominate (I thought Arlen Specter could not sink lower in his brazen desperate grasp for relevance, but I was wrong)
For the record, I think the Pats did everything they are accused of and I don't care. The Steelers of the 70s were all steroid monsters, its a game and if gamblers get stiffed, so what? To to high-horsers- the question is is there a better way to discourage vice?
It's over now.
I hope this isn't a sign for how successful L.A. Guy's predictions are going to be throughout 2008....
