Ah, blessed relief
So speaking of that split second longer that it takes to realize something is not there than to realize it is, I experienced ecstasy a moment ago: NPR is no longer broadcasting those god-awful, "This I believe" thumbsuckers.
I'm going to contact my conservative Republican congressman to push another grant for CPB.
Sorry to say, though, that they're still doing Story Corps.

There's a Story Corps booth that I pass in Grand Central all the time. I'm consistently tempted to go in and tell some really good dirty jokes. You know, just for posterity.
