Still Packing 'Em In

The Michael Jackson memorial will be held today at Staples Center. Some estimates have as many as three quarters of a million people showing up downtown. That seems high, but even if it's just one hundred thousand, that's five times as many people as Staples holds.

Over a million fans requested seats at the memorial, and nine thousand got them. It should be interesting to see what happens with the overflow. Parking is a hassle during regular games.

Glad I got no business downtown today.
