Quasi-interesting Choices

Every new year brings us 25 more films that go on the Library Of Congress registry, deemed worth preserving for artistic and/or historical reasons.

They've been doing this for over a generation, and this year's list suggest maybe they're starting to stretch a bit. Some decent choices, but a lot of mid-range stuff, like Jezebel, Pillow Talk, Dog Day Afternoon, The Incredble Shrinking Man, Jesse Walker favorite The Muppet Movie and so on. Not bad stuff. Sometimes even quite good. But not the first-level classics you'd immediately think of

Most interesting choices (of those I've seen)? Quasi At The Qauckadero.

A self-referential choice is Precious Images, which tried to do in 1986 what the Library Of Congress has been trying to do since.
