Can you believe it? Karen Carpenter would be turning 61 today if she hadn't died years ago from complications related to anorexia. She had a beautiful, deep voice, and was definitely one of the sexiest drummers around.

My music of choice is heavy metal... Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc. But I cannot lie and say this woman's voice was not the best female voice EVER. Her lyrics and highs and lows sung are breathtaking. Such a senseless loss when she passed.
