Good Morning, Mr. Leitch

Happy birthday, Donovan.  He was just inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.  Of all the hippy-dippy types in the 60s, he was probably the hippy-dippiest.

He was first sold as England's answer to Bob Dylan:



It soon became apparent his brand of folk-pop was softer and sweeter and more psychedelic. He had huge hits with "Mellow Yellow," "Sunshine Superman" and "Hurdy Gurdy Man," though for being "far out" I don't think you can top "Atlantis":



Though if I had to pick my favorite top forty hit of his, it'd be one of his most mellow:
