Gomer's Replacement

Let's say goodbye to George "Goober" Lindsey.  Some actors wouldn't like being typecast as a bumpkin, but Lindsey always appreciated that it afforded him a decent living.

While he wasn't as dumb as Goober, I think the character wasn't that far from his real personality.
