Pronounced Vorzhack
A reader requested I note the birthday of Ann Dvorak (and pointed to her performance with Rudy Vallee). Okay, but only because it's her centenary. She's not as well remembered as contemporaries like Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn or Ginger Rogers, but in the 30s, she lit up the screen with the best of them.
Her best known performance is probably in Scarface. Here's an anomalous moment:

Y'know it was also Tempestt Bledsoe's birthday. She's no Tina Yothers but still
It's that last "t" in Tempestt that makes the name.
