Pohl Position

Someone asked why I didn't take note of Frederik Pohl's death.  So let me say he was a fine sf writer--I remember reading The Space Merchants a quite a few short stories--and also a fine editor.  However, he wasn't top-tier for me, so I'm not sure how much more I have to say.
