Wrong word

So a few people seem entertained that Katie Couric has apparently never heard of William F. Buckley, even accusing her of being illiterate. That seems a touch over the top, since it doesn't do very much except show that she's more or less on par with Sarah Palin, who certainly knows the word.

 I'm much more worried about her texting. "Be4"? Shouldn't it be "Be4our"? I suppose Katie doesn't really get abbreviation, since the evening news has never really had any substance to abbreviate.
