Pacing ourselves
So as the year moves along to a post I don't want to read (actually, two of them), do we want to render judgment on anything, apart from my trenchant wit and ability to appeal to the common man's understanding? Say, LAGuy's best film year in review? My most comprehensible post? The role that PajamaGuy himself played in all of this?

I no longer believe in the existence of PajamaGuy.
If you're interested, here's what I wrote four years ago about doing the blog.

Some of the information is no longer accurate.
By the way, Pajama Guy is alive and well. In fact, we talk over the phone pretty regularly. But I'm not sure if he's even aware that the blog is still generating new material.
Actually, it's some of the other guys I wonder about. Ann Arbor Guy and ChicagoGuy may not write for us any more, but I know them and keep in touch. But VermontGuy and QueensGuy seem long gone. (Along with one of my favorite commenters, Irene Done.)
Oh well, that's the internet.
Slate just released a searchable database of its 20 years of articles today. Pajama Guy blog got two mentions in 2006 (I think it is the same thing twice) Mickey Kaus on immigration
I was also referenced in one Slate article though under a screen name and it was for a rather banal observation about a Super Bowl ad
