I have to admit I don't know what to make of the new Microsoft commercials starring Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld. Neither do others, apparently.

My best guess: Microsoft was trying to show that those Apple ads portraying Windows as not "with it" are wrong. Unfortunately, they utterly failed, thus reinforcing Apple's message.
