Slumming
In a snarky WSJ article, Justice Sandra Day O"Connor talks about her post-Supreme Court work as fill-in on three judge panels on various circuits throughout the United States Courts of Appeal. While she seems to genuinely enjoy the service and says positive things, she does comment that the appellate caseload is "not particularly demanding, intellectually."
I guess she won't be testifying in favor of underpaid federal judges any time soon. (Will J.s Posner or Easterbrook favor us with a retort?)

I'm glad to see O'Connor finally found a job suited to her capacities. On the Supreme Court she was a prime example of the Peter Principle.
