Q Tips
Here's a video where Quentin Tarantino lists the top 20 movies since he started directing.
He tends to prefer movies with action and violence. I don't love everything here, but overall, I like his list more than I like most critics' lists of this type.

I agree with him that Unbreakable is underrated. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but for someone who likes comics it delves pretty deeply into the superhero mythology. (Not as deep as the comic Watchmen, of course. On the other hand, Unbreakable is better than the Watchmen movie.)
Not being a big fan of martial arts and other combat movies, most of his list didn't resonate with me. He's right about Matrix and Fight Club, though.
Aw, he was just being modest. Gives me about 10 good movies to add to my Netflix queue, which is more than I can say for most of these lists.
