The Big Squeeze

I watched Bill Cosby win the Mark Twain Prize on PBS. I have a regular TV and the show was broadcast letterboxed. Then they showed some old footage of him on Carson, and they put bars on the side of the letterbox so the aspect ratio was right. Weird.
