Cuddy Corner

The latest House was off-series, showing a day in the life of Lisa Cuddy, with everyone else in the background. I don't mind an occasional stunt, but they already tried that this season, when they followed Wilson. That was fun, but no reason to go to the well again (with a less interesting character). The show is still called House.
In any case, are the problems of a hospital administrator as interesting as House and crew solving medical mysteries. Even Cuddy's love/hate relationship with House is growing thin (and giving her a baby and a lover made it worse), but seeing her solve problems we don't especially care about is worse.
Lisa Edelstein does a good enough job in a thankless role, where the title character mostly does what he wants and she just rolls her eyes, but while the actress may have enjoyed the close-up, it didn't add much to the overall show.
