Cover Story

Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius said today that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is developing a new regulation that would require food manufacturers to display nutritional information on the front of packages.

Years ago, the FDA required food manufacturers to print nutritional information on their packages. It didn't seem to have any effect, so the government of course figures the reason must be that people are too stupid to turn the box around.
