What do you mean hopelessness. I'm just trying to analyze the situation. It's not about rooting for either side.
But if you are rooting for the GOP I'm saying they have a better than one in three chance of taking back the Senate. Does that sound so bad?

As for you, I won't be happy until the Dems' chance and the Republicans' chance totals less than 1. (And no fudging with the Green Party or a troop of monkeys at a scribe's table, either)
Sounded fairly hopeful to me- the forces of reaction are coming off worse than the boobs they are challenging
