One of these things is not like the others

No wonder they hate Charles Murray:

"The five most negatively evaluated historical figures across all countries were (from the bottom) Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, George W. Bush and Joseph Stalin. These men played key roles in dictatorships, terrorism, mass murder, and unjust wars."

When I think of all the times I have heard any of these five men mentioned by any of my friends and acquaintances over the past two decades, only one of the names is routinely spoken in a violent tone, full of vitriol and scorn. So maybe he really is worse than Stalin.

At least Stalin never invaded Iraq, right?

Truly amazing. What's the old line about faculty infighting? It's so vicious because the stakes are so small?
