Beddy Bye

Yesterday was National Make Your Bed Day.  The page I link to says they don't know the origin of the holiday.  Still, I have to assume it was created before 2001--you wouldn't choose to have a holiday on 9/11.

In a vaguely related issue, someone showed me this video of the classic children's song "Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed":

Just a few questions.

1) I'll buy that there are a bunch of monkeys in the house. But after, say, the second accident, couldn't the mother stop them from jumping, rather than just waiting for more accidents?

2)  Mom calls the doctor too easily.  She even calls him when the monkeys have stopped jumping on the bed.

3)  Judging by the comments on YouTube, I'm not the first to note the doctor's resemblance to Hitler.  Odd.
