The Few, The Proud, The Voters
I saw Chris Matthews discussing the Democratic delegates last night. I don't think he likes Hillary. He kept asking how can she win if she doesn't get the most votes or win the most pledged delegates. Another commentator noted that if she keeps winning she can declare at the convention that the differences in delegates are negligible and taking everything into account (uncounted delegates, swing states, etc.), the super delegates could vote her in.
Matthews exploded. This is not how Jeffersonian democracy is supposed to work! he declared. Really? Jefferson was elected President twice when no one was allowed to vote for President except for what you might call super delegates.
