Onward And Upward

The second season of Mad Men, so far anyway, is better than the first season. I suppose that's because the first season had what amounted to a lot of exposition. Now that we have all the characters, and the writers and actors know what they can do, they now feel free to explore them with a little more depth.

Also, the first season spent a lot of time on Don Draper's past, which I considered mostly down time.
