Sports Update: Michigan Edition

Quite a lot to enjoy lately.  The Wolverines are 5-0, and knocking on the top ten.  It may all still fall apart, but no one expected them to get this far.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions, a team that never does anything, is undefeated.  No one else except their Division mates the Packers are undefeated.

Best of all, the Tigers, in a heart-stopping game, held on to beat the Yankees in New York, 3-2, and are headed for the AL championship.  I'd say right now they're as likely as anyone to win the World Series.  (I got nothing against the Yankees, but they've won enough.)

I've gotten used to having low expectations, so actually looking forward to these teams' games feels odd.
